Will I own the Zip site after it's built?

No, your setup and monthly fee gets you the use of your Zip site for as long as you want it, but you don't own the design or the content-management technology. (If you have paid for a custom design and/or logo, you do own the design and/or logo, though. You also own any content put on the site.) Zip sites are tied into technologies that are common to all Zip customers. The technology behind all Zip sites is proprietary, and the designs are shared among many customers. You therefore cannot move the site to another hosting provider. Zip sites are not simple HTML sites, as most web developers provide. They are tied into databases and reliant on our core technologies. What we provide for the monthly fee is, essentially, the site for that month.
